for pre-R10 Avaya IP Office
licencing. The affected Software versions include: R6, R7, R8, R9.0 & R9.1.

What does Avaya`s latest announcement mean for you?
This does not mean that your telephone system will stop working on December 8th however, if you are using an Avaya IP Office
that is running on version 9.1 or older, then you will need to be aware of the following:

- Products running pre-R10.1 software are not supported by Avaya Tier 3 & 4 technical support or for software repairs/patching.
No licences for Avaya IP Office Products running pre-R10 software will be available for purchase after December 8th 2019. This means that you will not be able to purchase licences to expand your system for ISDN lines, SIP Trunks, IP or 3 party IP licences. The full list can be seen in the link below.

What are your options?
The affected software versions include: Release 6, Release 7, Release 8, Release 9.0 & Release 9.1.
A: Do nothing - Business risk high
Hardware running pre-R10
software is currently not supported by Avaya, leaving you vulnerable. After December 8th licensing will also not be available.
B: Buy licences at current software version now for future requirements - High business risk
You will be purchasing licences that you may never use. As of December 8th, you will not be able to buy any more licences for the system and you are currently not eligible for support
from Avaya if there is an issue with your system.
C: Buy an upgrade licence - Low business risk
You can buy an upgrade licence and have the system upgraded to the latest or supported level of software.
An upgrade licence is a relatively inexpensive way to bring your entire system up to the latest software version and gain new features by doing so.

D: Migrate to the cloud - Low business risk
- £441.00 for systems (Voicemail PRO and advanced software applications)
- £266.00 for systems (Voicemail and basic telephony)

Some hardware is NOT compatible with software above 9.xx and will need to be upgraded or replaced. We would like to point out this affects 46xx/56xx/54xx Series Handsets

(CCC) and Customer Call report (CCR) users will need to upgrade to Avaya Call Reporter (ACR) or Avaya Contact Centre
